A data (*.data) file is an Analysis Studio project data file containing the offline project data.

The data (*.data) file holds the data in textual tabbed (csv) format with a custom Analysis Studio header.Data files are used by the Analysis Studio engine and poineted to by the stp file . Data files are not stand alone and can not be opened using Analysis Studio (files that can be opened by Analysis Studio are stp files (*.stp).
